TRG Young Professionals
Welcome to the TRG Young Professionals!
Following its launch in June 2007, the TRG Young Professionals Network has provided a focus for those between the ages of around 25 to 35. Most YP events are informal, giving people an opportunity to meet up after work and make links with others.
The TRG has always been strong at student level. However, some of our members pointed out that there were few events for people once they had left education. The YP events are geared specifically to people in professional life. It offers those who were interested at a social level at university the chance to stay engaged. It also provides a forum for people who have not previously been involved to find out more.
If you are interested in meeting people with similarly liberal Conservative views in a relaxed environment then I'm sure you would enjoy our events. Our parties are also a good opportunity for getting to know high profile politicians and opinion-formers without the formality of a speaker meeting.
While we obviously hope that people will join the TRG, there is no need to commit in order to attend our events. One of our focuses is on attracting those that might not otherwise be involved in the Conservative Party. We ensure that any cost of attending is used to pay for the evening, rather than fundraising, so you will be guaranteed value for your money and a fun and stimulating evening.
Our most recent event was held on 25th August 2009 at the Bombay Sapphire Dusk Bar at Somerset House. Our next event will take place this autumn and will be listed on our events page. If you would like to register your interest, and receive invitations to future events, please send me an e-mail by clicking here .
